Marks and Symbols for the P7 Family. It is IE on the second image. More on Date Codes below. The M13 or M8 (obviously) mean it is an M13 or an M8. Without an M number, it is likely a PSP. If the magazine has the release at the bottom, it is a PSP. Note the marks in the second picture are all shiny, bare steel. I think my little brother has managed to take my psp back to a shop today instead of his own (neither were faulty). I want to know if the serial numebrs on the box so I can try to match up wether mine is mine and also because hes really worried because he had to give our address in and thinks there going to come after him (bless him hes 10) if hes handed in the wrong one.
Best Answer: Take of the battery cover, remove the battery, and look toward the bottom. It should say, 'SERIAL No.' Then in the gray area, there is your PSP's serial number. There should also be letters in the front (there are in mine). After the serial number, there should be another, but smaller gray. Feb 01, 2017 You can retrieve your handheld's serial number by plugging it into a PC via USB cable and right click on the Vita icon that shows up in 'My Computer' and check the Properties of the handheld. The serial number will show up in Properties.

Playstation 3 Serial Number Lookup
So, I went in today to GameStop to trade in my old Vita, which I had purchased off a friend a year ago without the box, with the extra 50 dollar coupon. They inspected it and told me it was fine except that the serial and model number stickers were missing. The associate told me they couldn't take it because it didn't have that serial number for theft purposes. I found out if you plug in your vita to your computer and go to its properties, you can find the serial number for it. Do you think that would be enough for them to complete the trade?
